Long Tailed Ring Necked Pheasants

2 quality ceramic Long Tailed Pheasants, a male with companion and similarly cast Female. Both are a matched pair in self crafted bisque ceramics and were hand painted than heat fired.

They are each initialed by the artist ECJ '63 (etched not printed) who was a long time resident of the Pacific Inland Northwest region, and her work in Holland Molds (stamped) that spanned 3 decades.

A peck above the rest! The Pheasants are hand signed while in the liquid mold process. Unlike those that were pre-made blanks for others to later paint, but still very appealing. This combined by the splendid detail in paint only shows that the artist was more the instructor, rather than the student.

Carefully stored and cared for over 50 years.
