A very not so common Alva Studio work in Composite Stone.
Alva Museum Replicas, globally created reproductions of museum held artworks likened to this bird from terracotta or clay pottery of the ancient world. Work similar to companies such as Alva was performed in stone composite material that possibly too employed metal strengtheners, though for this sale is unknown.
On the bottom base is labeled: Authentic Reproductions, Copyrighted by Alva Museum Replicas, Inc., Alva Studios New York, N.Y.
Circa: 1980's to earlier, with current information its only known that the company existed in the '80s. It may be possible the company had earlier business filings but not currently discovered.
