Black & Gold Red Tulip Motif Ceramic Brass Ewer Table Lamp

A uniquely handmade Turkish ceramic Ewer Table Lamp, given to a Red Tulip Motif of black and gold gild and set within heavy brass. Overall solid and from the looks it was well cared for and cherished.

Base bottom felt intact and left undisturbed. Ewer pour spout appears hallow throughout its entire length. The lamp is being offered without shade, light bulb shown in photo for display only, circa 1950s-'60s.

Condition: Very Good and in Good Working Condition. A couple minor light wear spots on the gold gilt as would be expected even when new, but otherwise no scratches or wear to the painted surface. The lamp has been given a coating of a museum sold grade wax, similar to Renaissance Wax and wiped, but not polished. It ensures integrity and stability to current aging prior to sale. The brass shows some light patina but without pitting associated with corrosion and should easily polish out should it be necessary.
