Hudson Fine Pewter Flying Ducks Upon Wooden Base

Two Waterfowl Ducks in flight skirting the day’s ancient timbered shore waters and set upon a circular wood base. This is a signed, dated art work: Hudson, ‘JdeL’ © 1981 Fine Pewter, USA and numbered, ‘2378,’ with original label location, see photos.

The art work and form are worthy of what a skilled artist creates. It does have 1 missing part, but not apparent, see condition.

Condition: The right rear duck is missing its right leg so is being sold as-is. The apparent loss is due to separation from the attach point made by the artist joining and soldering of the two parts. It does not distract from viewing but if held and inspected it can show. Repairable and since no damage appears from what’s stated a new one could be formed and set into the original hole site. Area of attachment is hard to view unless inspected. Being pewter the sculpture can be reworked by hand tooling; it can’t be recreated in entirety and is an uncommon art work of outlasting beauty.
