The 3 Wise Monkeys and the idea relating to the notion of turning a blind eye, for which Mizaru Kikazaru and Iwazaru are Japanese names given to them.
The bronze is of a brass mix similar to a marine brass, or Muntz metal, which makes it very durable. A worn Made in India paper label appears on its base.
